Election Orders?
President Donald J Trump’s speech on “election fraud” in 2020 was clearly designed to pave the way for his interference in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections. While his remarks were characteristically filled with unsubstantiated allegations and outright lies, he made it crystal clear that he might have to take drastic measures to ensure the “integrity” of the election…should the Republicans lose, bigly.
We contend that directing the military to confiscate ballot boxes after Election Day would constitute one of those “illegal orders” that six Democratic members of Congress said must not be obeyed. It seems to us that, if this would not be an illegal order, what possibly could be?
