Vote for Brindisi, return to decency
The shameful Brett Kavanaugh confirmation reminded us why Rep. Claudia Tenney and her fellow Republicans need to be flushed from power on Election Day. Watching them line up behind Kavanaugh while claiming that they have such respect for women was disgraceful!
Meanwhile, while we weren’t looking, House Republicans deceitfully passed “Tax Reform 2.0,” providing further tax cuts of $3.1 trillion over 10 years for those making over $3.9 million annually. They intend to pay for this outrage by gutting Social Security and health care services, not caring one bit how this will hurt you.
Tenney and her Republican cronies make our heads and our hearts hurt. They’ve been enriching themselves at our expense because too many Democrats failed to vote in the 2010 midterms. Let’s NOT make that mistake again. Young people (between ages 18-35) now make up the largest majority of US voters and can turn things around, if you choose. We watched you come out passionately for gun safety and it made us hopeful again.
Remember, both parties are not the same! Tenney’s people are on the wrong side of basic human decency. Please, check your voter eligibility and come out to vote for Anthony Brindisi on Nov. 6
