Support the For the People Act
We want to express support for the excellent job President Biden has been doing, as he tries to “De-Trump” America after the last five disastrous years. While Rep. Tenney and her Republican cronies continue to throw every possible obstacle in their way, Pres. Biden, Sen. Majority Leader Charles Schumer, House Leader Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Congress have been steadfast in their attempts to battle for racial justice, health care for all, climate change, reducing poverty, and other issues that will benefit Americans.
Deplorably, Republicans are resolute in their opposition to all these goals, and their method of attack is to gut the voting system itself. Their idea of supporting Pres. Biden’s infrastructure bill is to re-build roads and bridges, even as they try to blow up democracy. “Don’t Blame Me, I Voted For Trump” signs besmirch our community.
Well we do blame you, for wanting to bring back a would-be tyrant who cares only about grifting us! We exhort everyone who values our American way of life to contact their local politicians and demand that they actively support the S.1 legislation, which guarantees every American access to their constitutional right to vote. We won’t get “Trumped” again!
