Election Day Choices
We have read several letters recently from readers who have clearly drunk the MAGA Kool-Aid and say they will vote for Donald Trump, JD Vance and Brandon Williams this Election Day. We just couldn’t disagree more.
Brandon Williams proudly represents a party that has willfully spread disinformation to victims of the worst hurricanes in recent memory. These poor people are looking for all the help they can get, yet they have to listen to proven lies that their government has abandoned them! Thanks for making their suffering and their misery so much worse, Republicans! What if these lies had been spread to the people of Rome after the recent tornado devastation here? If Brandon Williams had one ounce of humanity in him, he would think about the suffering his own constituents have gone through and he would loudly disavow these shameful lies that Trump and Vance are spreading. But we hear nothing from him. Williams is clearly just another MAGA lemming, who obeys every Trump command, who thinks only of himself and his political power…and we have had enough of him.
We ask the Mohawk Valley community to reject Trump and Williams’ heartlessness and that of their party. Vote Kamala Harris, John Mannion and their fellow Democrats into office this November 5th!!
