Yet Another Republican Disgrace

To those Americans who might still be “on the fence” about voting for Republicans this November, we refer you to yesterday’s (7/29) attempted ambush of Dr. Anthony Fauci, presented as a “Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Hearing” and led by its snarling chairman, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

Knowing that the “hearing” was a trap, Dr. Fauci informed the committee that he would be invoking his 5th amendment right to not answer their questions. Still, he was immediately barraged with questions and accusations, all designed to get him to admit that he was responsible for releasing the COVID-19 pandemic and causing the subsequent deaths of a million Americans.

One of the more weaselly Republicans, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) took aim at Fauci’s rights tweeting, “Hint for you: no honest person pleads the fifth”! He conveniently ignored the fact that his cult leader, President Donald J. Trump invoked his fifth amendment right over 440 times, under questioning by Letitia James in 2022. Another lowlife, Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-NJ) was quick to obscenely berate Dr. Fauci, while remaining bizzarrely silent on accusations that his own daughter and grandchild have allegedly been abused at the hands of his fellow Republican, Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio)!

Unsurprisingly, even after this disgraceful spectacle, Republicans vowed that they were not yet finished with Dr. Fauci. Well, we implore every American with a sense of justice and a capacity for critical thinking, to reject this blatant mockery of our constitution and of basic humanity! Please vote for Democrats this coming Election Day!
